We remember the end of winter with a frosty weather, and perhaps that's why most viewers spent more time watching TV. Therefore, according to the results of February, the total TV viewing reached 7.70%, which is an absolute record since January 2020.
As of the end of February, there were 443.9 thousand devices in the IPTV / OTT panel.
The top events of February are an increase in the viewing share of STB channel and a change in the indicators of the news channels group after the disconnection of Channel 112, ZIK and Newsone.

General viewing channels
In February, the top three channels look like this: 1 + 1 has returned to the usual first place, meanwhile Channel ‘Ukraine’ dropped from first to second, while STB, on the contrary, rose to third place in the overall standings, displacing ICTV to fourth. 1 + 1, the share of viewing in February was 11.47% (an increase of 0.63 percentage points), and Channel ‘Ukraine’ - 10.43% (a decrease of 0.67 percentage points). 1 + 1 generated 856.2 thousand contacts, and in Ukraine this figure was 758.5 thousand.
In third place was the STB channel with a share of 8.55% (an increase of 1.02 percentage points and 879.7 thousand contacts). ICTV lost only 0.09 percentage points in February, but that was enough to move to fourth place with 8.17% (780.2 thousand contacts were generated). Novy Channel is in the fifth place, adding 0.26 percentage points in February. (viewing share of 7.20%, number of contacts with the channel - 763.4 thousand), and Inter channel remains on the sixth with a rate of 5.02% (the share of viewing decreased by 0.37 percentage points, 646.1 thousand were generated contacts).
Movie channels
The leading position continues to be held by TV 1000 East (share of viewing 2.24%, growth by 0.12 percentage points). A total of more than 396,000 unique households connected to IPTV / OTT platforms watched TV 1000 East for a month throughout Ukraine with an average viewing rate of 40.9 minutes.
TV 1000 Action East channel with a rate of 1.66% (an increase of 0.31 percentage points, the number of contacts - 404.7 thousand) took second place in the group. The third place in the group is held by ViP Comedy (share of viewing 1.05%, decrease by 0.15 percentage points), which was watched by 233.2 thousand households. In fourth place is the VIP Megahit HD (viewing rate 0.59%, a decrease of 0.79 percentage points, the number of contacts with the channel - 79.4 thousand). Enter-Film channel (the share of viewing dropped by 0.02 percentage points to 0.49%) took fifth place - in February, the channel's coverage was 301.3 thousand households.
Entertainment channels
In February, the group's leader, TET channel, received a slightly lower viewing share (down 0.21 percentage points to 2.93%), generating 551.6 thousand contacts with IPTV / OTT households across Ukraine. The average TET viewing time was 48.6 minutes.
NLO-TV channel is in second place with a viewing rate of 1.10% (down 0.28 percentage points). The share of OCEchannel in third place increased by 0.03 percentage points. up to 0.51%. NLO-TV there were 380.6 thousand contacts with TV viewers, in OCE channel - 245.9 thousand. In fourth place was Mega channel with a rate of 0.50% (down 0.05 percentage points), and Sonce channel located in fifth place (the share of viewing fell by 0.03 percentage points and amounted to 0.36%)
Children's channels
The viewing share of Plus Plus channel decreased in February by 0.07 percentage points to the level of 1.74%, and the channel remains in first place, generating 235 thousand contacts. Nickelodeon channel (share of viewing decreased by 0.25 percentage points to 0.85%) took second place, and Pixel channel (a decrease of 0.02 percentage points to 0.67%) took third place, respectively. Nickelodeon channel generated 100.9 thousand contacts, and the Pixel channel - 257.3 thousand. The fourth place is occupied by Cartoon Network channel, which viewing share felt by 0.11 percentage points. up to 0.59%, and the number of contacts amounted to 35.1 thousand.
Sports channels
In the first place remains Football 1, increasing the share of viewings by 0.99 percentage points up to 2.12%. Football 2 ranks second with a share of 1.65% (an increase of 0.61 percentage points). Football 1 received 178.1 thousand contacts, Football 2 channel was watched by 168.7 thousand households. Setanta Sports HD (the share of viewing in January 0.85%, a decrease of 0.12 percentage points, the number of contacts with the channel - 330.9 thousand) occupies the third position. The fourth place is occupied by Football 3 channel with a share of 0.31% and 146.8 thousand contacts. FIGHTBOX HD channel ranks fifth with a viewing share of 0.18% and 231.2 thousand contacts.
News channels
The first place among the news channels is held by channel Ukraine 24, which share of viewing in February decreased by 0.16 percentage points. up to 1.75% (the channel received 296.8 thousand contacts and an average viewing time of 37.5 minutes). The viewing share of NASH, which was in second place, increased by 0.73 percentage points. up to 1%. The channel received 203.9 thousand unique contacts in February and an average viewing time of 54.6 minutes. Channel PRYAMOI showed a viewing share of 0.72%, which is 0.16 percentage points. higher than its result in January, and ranks third with 209.5 thousand contacts. The average viewing time was 42 minutes. Fourth place for Channel 24 - according to the results of February, its share of viewing was 0.45%, the number of contacts with the channel - 57.5 thousand. In fifth place was Espresso TV (the share of viewing increased by 0.07 percentage points to the level of 0 , 42%), which generated 217.5 thousand contacts.
Documentary channels
In the first place in the group continues to hold the channel Viasat History, which share of viewing decreased by 0.02 percentage points. up to 0.80% (total number of contacts with the channel - 236.9 thousand), and the channel Viasat Explore CEE- occupies the second position in the group with a rate of 0.59% (a decrease of 0.04 percentage points). The number of channel contacts with IPTV / OTT households throughout Ukraine amounted to 175.5 thousand. In third place was Viasat Nature CEE with a viewing rate of 0.49% (sagging by 0.06 percentage points). NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC (0.48% viewing, 0.04 percentage points) is in fourth place, and Nat Geo Wild is in fifth place with 0.42% (minus 0.17 percentage points).
The average viewing time of the TV channels - the leaders of the group, was in February: Viasat History -41.6 minutes, Viasat Explore CEE - 35 minutes, Viasat Nature CEE - 29.5 minutes.
TV series channels
The group of channels of the TV series in February continues to be headed by the channel BIGUDI, which increased the share of viewing by 0.13 percentage points to 0.48% and generated 151.6 thousand contacts with IPTV / OTT households. In second place is Paramount Comedy channel, which viewing share increased by 0.02 percentage points. up to 0.30%. The third place is occupied by FOX channel with a viewing share of 0.29%.
Music channels
M1 ranks first - its share of viewing increased to 0.48%, in second place - EU MUSIC (the share of viewing increased by 0.29%). Channel M2 is in third place with a viewing share of 0.22%.
Regional channels
In February, 34 channel came out on top among regional channels with a review rate of 0.126%. In second place isChannel 4 with a rate of 0.059%. Channel Donbass, having received a share of 0.045%, ranks third, and channelKyev, which viewing of share was 0.034%, in fourth place. The next channel Horizon-TV has an indicator within 0.028% of the share of viewing.
