Only leaders will receive BIG DATA Awards!
On May 29, 2019, BIG DATA UA, independent rating agency, conducts the Second Ceremony of “BIG DATA Awards” to reward TV channels for high performance in the BIG DATA Rating system (Ukrainian IPTV/OTT audience) during 2018.
TV channels will receive an award in each of the following categories:
Leader among Generalists TV channels, Leader among Children TV channels, Leader among Entertainment TV channels, Leader among Film TV channels, Leader among News TV channels, Leader among Music TV channels, Leading among Science TV channels, Leader among Sports TV channels, Leader among Regional TV channels.
Additionally, TV channels will be awarded with “Best Debut" - for a successful launch of the new TV channel and "Step Forward" - for a successful broadcast re-start.
At the same time, last year, the company decided to expand the list of traditional nominations. This year, the "Leader among Serials TV channels" will be determined.
“Our company meticulously monitors changes in the TV industry world. Special focus on TV channels broadcasting TV series as on separate category is a step that reflects the real change in the habits and preferences of the modern viewer. Therefore, this year, we are ready to give BIG DATA Awards to the TV channels, which teams lead in creation and distribution of channels broadcasting TV serials in Ukraine. Today it is a self-sufficient “stream”, which has its own “Leaders” and “Serious Challenger”, as well as other nominations. Announcement and greetings are scheduled for the ceremony. The Event will be conducted at XXV Kyiv International TV and Radio Fair.
Recall, the First Ceremony of “BIG DATA Awards” was conducted on May 31, 2019. TV channels received awards from the independent rating agency BIG DATA UA for their high performance in the BIG DATA Rating system over the past year *. More than 20 TV channels among almost 190 participants got the Leader and Serious Challenger awards.
*The best TV channels were determined basing on the data from BIG DATA Rating monitoring system, which headed TOP in each of the genres more often than others from April 2017 to April 2018.
