This November was rich in events should have a positive impact on the consumption of television products. Intensification of political activity and tensions in international circumstances, economic issues and lockdown - all this have intensified the viewing of the news channels, but did not affect the general TV viewing.
As of the end of November, there were about 390.6 thousand households in the IPTV/OTT panel. The total TV viewing in November has remained almost unchanged (the figure decreased by only 1% compared to the previous month). The average viewing time decreased by 14 minutes, but a small increase in the average daily coverage per day offset this reduction.

The overall share of the group of general viewing channels has slightly decreased, while the group of news channels has shown significant growth for the second month in a row.
Channel ‘Ukraine’, which took second place in September, moved to 4th place in November, and the group's undisputed leader, 1 + 1 channel, has lost its lead.

Channel groups by genre (type)
In November, the share of the general viewing channels group markedly decreased (a decrease in the total share of viewing by 1.59 percentage points to 58.68%). The group of movie channels retains second place - in November, the viewing share of the group increased to 10.33% (the group added 0.25 percentage points). The third most popular among viewers was a group of news channels, the share of which increased by 0.72 percentage points in November. and reached 6.57%. A group of entertainment channels, the viewing share of which has amounted to 5.75%, that is 0.36 percentage points higher than in October, ranked fourth. The group of children's channels lost 0.08 percentage points in November and ranks fifth with 5.47%. The viewing share of the sports channels groupdecreased by 0.25 percentage points up to 4.26%, which allowed the group to take sixth place. In seventh place is the group of documentary channels (viewing share of 4.23%, an increase of 0.28 percentage points), and in eighth place is the group of TV series channels (viewing share of 2.25%, unchanged). In ninth place was a group of music channels with a total share of 1.49% (an increase of 0.02 percentage points). The group of regionalchannels (the share of viewing has also increased by 0.02 percentage points in November) holds the tenth place with a rate of 0.34%.
General viewing channels
In November, 1 + 1 channel (11.78% revision rate, 0.31 percentage points increase ) lost to STB. The new leader of November - STB channel, continued to grow its audience and, according to the results of the month, its share was a record 12.30% (plus 1.20 percentage points). STB channel has generated 750 thousand contacts, and in 1 + 1 this figure was 765.4 thousand.
In third place was the ICTV channel with a share of 9.41% (an increase of 0.61 percentage points and 694.6 thousand contacts). In November, the Ukraine channel asked for a record 3.20 percentage points. and is in fourth place with a rate of 7.19% (generated 598.3 thousand contacts). New Channel ranks fifth, losing 0.47 percentage points in November. (the share of viewing is 6.15%, the number of contacts with the channel is 658.7 thousand), and the Inter channel remains in sixth place with 5.24% (the share of viewing increased by 0.24 percentage points, 565.6 thousand contacts were generated ).
Movie channels
The first position in November was taken by TV1000 East (share of viewing 1.98%, an increase of 0.18 percentage points). A total of more than 341.8 thousand unique households connected to IPTV/OTT platforms watched TV1000 East for a month throughout Ukraine with an average viewing rate of 49.6 minutes.
Channel TV1000 Action East with a rate of 1.92% (an increase of 0.08 percentage points, the number of contacts - 399.9 thousand) took second place in the group. The third place in the group is held by ViP Comedy channel (share of viewing 1.08%, increase by 0.09 percentage points), which was watched by 203.4 thousand households. In fourth place is the VIP Megahit HD channel (viewing rate 0.92% (unchanged), number of contacts with the channel - 116.4 thousand). VIP Premiere HD channel (the viewing share fell by 0.03 percentage points to 0.60%) took fifth place - TV channel's coverage in November was 114.3 thousand households.
News channels
The first place among the news channels is held by the channel Ukraine 24, the viewing share of which has increased by 0.37 percentage points in November. up to 2.95% (the channel received 312.7 thousand contacts and an average viewing time of 55.9 minutes). The viewing share of NASH channel, which took second place, increased by 0.05 percentage points. up to 1.14%. The channel received 166.6 thousand unique contacts in November and an average viewing time of 57.5 minutes. PRYAMIY channel has showed a viewing share of 0.84% (added 0.06 percentage points), and ranks third with 186.9 thousand contacts. The average viewing time was 46.3 minutes. Fourth place has taken by Channel 24 - the share of viewing has increased by 0.10 percentage points up to 0.55%, the number of contacts with the channel - 44.5 thousand. In fifth place was Espresso TV (the viewing share increased by 0.10 percentage points to 0.53%), which generated 204 thousand contacts.
Entertainment channels
In November, the group's leader, TET channel, increased its viewing share (up 0.22 percentage points to 2.59%), generating 461.2 thousand contacts with IPTV/OTT households across Ukraine. The average TET viewing time was 44.5 minutes.
The NLO-TV channel is in second place with a viewing share of 0.99% (plus 0.04 percentage points). The share of OCE-TV in third place increased by 0.12 percentage points up to 0.56%. 301.9 thousand contacts with TV viewers took place with NLO-TV, 198.7 thousand for the channel OCE-TV. In fourth place was IndigoTV with the rate of 0.45% (0.06 percentage points lost) and Mega channel settled in fifth place (the share grew in November by 0.01 percentage points and amounted to 0, 38%)
Children's channels
The share of viewing the Plus Plus channel decreased by 0.03 percentage points in November. to 1.47%, and the channel remains in first place, generating 177.9 thousand contacts. Nickelodeon (up 0.01 percentage points to 0.92%) was second, and Nick Jr (0.66% up 0.05 percentage points) was third, respectively. Nickelodeon generated 90.3 thousand contacts and Nick Jr generated 49 thousand. The fourth place is occupied by Pixel channel, the viewing share of which increased by 0.02 percentage points up to 0.52%, and the number of contacts amounted to 195.3 thousand.
Sports channels
Channel Football 1 remains in first place (the viewing share fell by 0.13 percentage points to 1.73%). Football 2 ranks second with a share of 0.88% (down 0.15 percentage points). Football 1 received 141.9 thousand contacts, Football 2 channel was watched by 118 thousand households. Setanta Sports HD (share viewing in November 0.43%, a decrease of 0.06 percentage points, the number of contacts with the channel - 294.3 thousand) ranks third. The fourth place is occupied by Football 3 channel with a viewing share of 0.29% and 78.6 thousand contacts. Setanta Sports Plus channel ranks fifth with a viewing share of 0.17% and 293.2 thousand contacts.
Documentary channels
In the first place in the group continues to hold the channel Viasat History, the viewing share of which increased by 0.09 percentage points up to 0.86% (total number of contacts with the channel - 192.3 thousand), and Viasat Explore CEE - ranks second in the group with 0.491% (an increase of 0.04 percentage points). The number of contacts with IPTV / OTT households the channel had throughout Ukraine amounted to 138.2 thousand. In third place was NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC with a share of 0.485% (added 0.02 percentage points). Nat Geo Wild channel (0.43% viewing rate, 0.04 percentage points increase ) is in fourth place, and Viasat Nature CEE channel is in fifth place with 0.35% (plus 0.03 percentage points)
Channels of TV series
The series of channels in November continues to be led by BIGUDI channel , which remained unchanged at 0.56% and generated 118.2 thousand contacts with IPTV/OTT households. In second place is the channel Epic Drama, the viewing share of which added 0.01 percentage points. up to 0.36%. Third place goes to Paramount Comedy channel with a viewing share of 0.35%.
Music channels
M1 ranks first - its viewing share fell slightly to 0.43%, in second place - EU MUSIC (share fell by 0.01 percentage points to 0.228%). M2 is in third place with a viewing share of 0.226%.
Regional channels
In November, KIEV channel ranked first among regional channels with a viewing rate of 0.0439%. In second place is the channel Nash Channel with a rate of 0.0436%. ATR ranked third with a viewing share of 0.037%, and UA:CRIMEA, with a viewing share of 0.024%, came in fourth. Next to them UA:Kyiv has an indicator within 0.022% of the share of revision.
