“Everything can always be done better than it is being done” – it is Henry Ford’s quote I’d like to begin my second blog on Big Data Ua's web site.
You will agree that the modern media world has undergone many cardinal changes. TV audience has never had a wider choice of content and ways of viewing it, compared with nowadays. The large number of options makes it possible for the viewer to choose. And this choice means upgraded requirements to quality of TV product and relevant services.
It’s quite logical, as we know that the appetite comes with eating. The growing appetite of TV audience is precisely the reason which makes media industry evolve, puts it in motion - what to give to the viewer, when, how?
Big Data Rating was created basing on the idea of a convenient tool that is called to help media industry* professionals to define direction of their movement in order to meet the rapidly changing requirements of present audience. And I'm sincerely glad that many representatives of this industry perceived the Big Data Ua’s product within such a context.
I was absolutely serious when I called the current stage of Big Data Rating Test as the main process in my first blog. It’s just because I’m confident that any idea which is intended to make this tool more convenient shall be implemented to make the product better.
I want to thank everyone who actively participates in the Big Data Rating testing and finds time to build the professional dialogue, other words, gives feedback, provides comments and criticism. I do invite everyone to express their comments and wishes. The test questionnaire would take you for about 10 minutes. I tried to put general questions and left the space for your thoughts in some special questions. They will help me to understand your needs better and create the most comfortable product.
It’s my honor to invite you to the test the product. I will be very delighted if you share your opinion about the product!
(By the way, the text of the contract itself, or it’s better to say a "public contract", is available for public.
* I’d like to ask for your excuse, but I guess that the forthcoming "visa-free travel" and desire to be in the trend of European terms should make me to say: “professionals in the industry of audiovisual products and services”, but I’m old-fashioned and still call us as media industry .
